Broken Pine Studios makes original games and builds them for other studios — design, code, art and ship. Ten-plus years of commercial titles, run out of Pakistan with collaborators across six countries.
Broken Pine was founded by Shahzaib Ansari after a decade of commercial game work across mobile, PC and console. The studio runs small and hands-on: fewer meetings, more builds, and a bias toward getting something playable in front of people early.
Whole games or a specific slice of one. We plug in where you need us, on your engine and your schedule.
Send a brief, a build, or a paragraph. We'll tell you honestly whether we're the right team for it.
Broken Pine Studios is an independent game studio based in Bahawalpur, Pakistan. We make our own titles and take on production work for studios elsewhere — often at the same time, which keeps both sharper.
The studio exists because there was no obvious path into games from here. So we built one: commercial work to fund it, original projects to prove it, and a bootcamp to bring more people in.
We stay deliberately small. Every person on a project is someone who makes the game, and the fastest way to settle an argument here is to build the thing and play it.
Ten-plus years shipping commercial titles on mobile, PC and console with teams across six countries. Now building Broken Pine's own games and teaching the next group of Pakistani developers how to ship theirs.
Come in as a player, leave as a game developer. Master Unity and C# hands-on and walk away with your own games.
Twenty seats, one room, everyone building at once. Sessions run on the studio floor in Bahawalpur, on the same machines and the same Unity setup the team ships with — so questions get answered at the desk, while you are still stuck.
